I was born in France and spent my childhood in France and in Hong Kong. I moved to the UK when I was 15 to study for my A-levels, after which I took a gap year that I spent mostly in Ohio, USA, looking after 60 horses at a YMCA camp.

I developed a passion for wildlife at an early age, which led to my graduating from the University of Bristol in 2004 with a 2:1 in Zoology. Throughout my degree, I did field work for the Mammal Research Unit and Prof. Steve Harris. I worked on hares, red foxes, hedgehogs, mostly for PhD students, radio-tracking at night and during the day. I also helped on a project looking at the effects of organic and non-organic farming practices on populations of insectivorous mammals.

I have travelled extensively throughout my life, which is something that I enjoy greatly. I spent several months in Costa Rica working as a zipline tour guide in the rainforest and I spent a couple of months in Poland working on a wolf project. After graduating, I spent a year in South Africa on the Kalahari Meerkat Project.

Below is the link to my blog, which covers my adventures over the last few years that I have spent in Botswana, developing and refining my project. Enjoy!
